Haiti Relief

This past Sunday we raised $3,176.58 in support for those devastated by the earthquakes in Haiti this month. 

If you were not able to give last Sunday, you can continue to give to Haiti Relief through Crossing by designating your giving. Please write “Haiti Relief” in the memo line of the check or designate your cash envelope. Or, you can give online directly to the North American Mission Board’s relief effort by clicking here.

2009 Giving Statements

For those of you who gave to and through Crossing Church in 2009, we will be sending out your 2009 Giving Statements this week. If you would prefer to get your statement more quickly, you may email finances@crossinglouisville.com to receive a PDF version by email.

Each week we will post the previous week’s giving numbers, along with the need. 

Last week’s giving: $6,779.51 (Weekly Need: $5,000)

This month’s giving: $26,417.42 (Monthly Need: $25,000)

The City 2.0 Quick Tip

There are some great tools for you to use to see your information.

Calendar Panel (RED)

• All upcoming and possible events from all of your groups are shown in the Calendar Panel.
• Days with scheduled events are color-coded to give you a quick view of days with possible events (light grey) and days with events you are planning to attend (dark grey).
• Just click on a date to view all the day’s events, quickly RSVP in-line, and subscribe to your calendar’s ICAL FEED.

Personal Controls Panel (GREEN)

• This panel consolidates all of your personal controls.
• Update your status by answering the question, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
• Click VIEW PROFILE to see what information others can see about you.
• Click SETTINGS to access and edit all of your personal settings.
• The THINGS TO DO utility shows you actions you need to take, including prompts for any PROCESSES you are in, FRIEND REQUESTS you need to approve, GROUP INVITATIONS, and OUTREACH NOTIFICATIONS that highlight friends who haven’t logged in recently who you might want to reach out to.

Promo Block (YELLOW)

• Still on the right-hand side this block displays promotions and tips.
• A link to The City Plaza lets you quickly access all your church’s publicly-posted Plaza content.
• Promotions from your groups are rotated every 20 seconds.
